I recently ran into this fine piece of documentary work by: Niall Ferguson
It’s called The Ascent of Money and it takes you through the most important moments in the history of money. Quite an exceptional piece of documentary work which I highly recommend to anyone that wants to understand a bit more about how the world works from a financial/economic point of view.
